India Kawasaki Motors has silently recalled the Ninja 300 motorcycle due to an issue with the ECU issue. It is believed that the engine control unit (ECU) of the Ninja 300 has a wrong setting that could cause the motorcycle to stall while decelerating.
This recall was confirmed by folks at Motorbeam who spoke to a dealer. Around eleven motorcycles have been recalled in Navi Mumbai out of which seven of them have already got their parts replaced. Bajaj and Kawasaki have not official released a statement on this recall but visiting the service center will resolve the issue. As per the dealership, the ECU needs to be replaced that will take just five minutes.
The Ninja 300 has been in the international news as well for the same issue. The motorcycle was recalled in United States for the ECU issue last month and due to potential ABS problem in July.
