The 2016 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 (Z1000SX) has been equipped with race-inspired FCC slipper clutch and antilock-braking system (ABS) as standard.
The company claims that with this slipper clutch, the rider will have 30 per cent lighter feel at the lever. Along with this technology, ABS is standard on the Ninja 1000, without any increase in the price.
For cosmetic enhancement, the Japanese manufacturer has introduced a new candy plasma blue colour which looks quite good on this motorcycle. Kawasaki will continue to sell the candy lime green and metallic carbon grey shades along with this new colour.
While the Ninja 1000 didn’t do really well in the Indian market, we are expecting Kawasaki to bring this model to India. However, we can expect this to happen only early next year via the completely-built-up (CBU) route.
