Kawasaki has released a teaser video of the J-Concept, an electric three wheeled motorcycle that looks like it popped straight out of a sci-fi movie.
The motorcycle leans into corners using its two front wheels to provide regular motorcycle like handling but with more grip. This function is similar to what the Yamaha Niken does, although the Kawasaki J-Concept makes the latter look rather conventional.
The Kawasaki J-Concept can alter its riding ergonomics to provide the rider with two modes- Upright and Attack. While the upright mode, like it is called can be used for city riding, the attack mode sets the rider aggressively leaned forward.
However, this leaning three-wheeled concept isn’t new and was first showcased at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. With radical motorcycles like the Yamaha Niken going into production from this year, it will not be long before Kawasaki follows suit. We can expect a production version of the J-Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show this year.
