Kawasaki India has launched a new edition of their entry level sportbike - the Ninja 300 Anniversary Edition for Rs 3.65 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Ninja dons a new paint scheme inspired from the 30th Anniversary Edition Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R that was launched in May last year.
Wrapped in green, white, grey and black hues across the body, the Ninja 300 attempts to counter the attack from the recently launched Yamaha R3 and its nemesis the KTM RC 390. The Ninja logo now comes in black while the belly cover has Kawasaki pasted across its length. The alloy wheels also get reflective sticker lining to add to the sporty looks. The standard green and white colours have been discontinued.
The 296cc twin cylinder Kawasaki engine produces 39bhp at 11000rpm and 27Nm torque at 10000rpm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox that also boasts of a slipper clutch. The Ninja still misses out on the ABS though.
