Kawasaki has launched its latest offering: the naked variant of the Ninja 250R in Indonesia. Called the Z250, the motorcycle follows the design cues of the bigger brawnier Z800 and is powered by the same parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, DOHC, eight-valved mill that is as available on the faired 250R.
The images reveal street friendly ergonomics and the wide handlebar should make this motorcycle an exciting streetfighter to ride.
Kawasaki seems to have taken an aggressive line by advertising the benefits of a twin-cylinder motor instead of a single unit and so we hope that the Z250 makes its way to India.
The Z250 has been launched in three colours, black, red and white. Priced at IDR 48,000 ( Rs 2.67 lakh) in Indonesia, this motorcycle will have to compete with upcoming Hyosung GT250N and Suzuki Inazuma 250
