- Kawasaki Ninja 1000 offered in new silver colour option
- Limited to only 60 units
- Continues to be priced at Rs 10.29 lakhs, ex-showroom
Kawasaki India has updated the Ninja 1000 by introducing a new silver colour option called 'Metallic Matte Fusion Silver'. The new colour shade comes in addition to the existing two colour options of black and green. However, it is available until stocks last as only 60 units in this shade have been allotted for the Indian market. Of course, the new colour option can be availed at no additional cost and continues to be priced at the same sticker price of Rs 10.29 lakhs, ex-showroom.
Apart from the new colour option, the motorcycle remains exactly the same. The Ninja 1000 is a touring based sportsbike offering the best of both worlds to the buyer. It has the racing instincts of a thoroughbred Ninja and additional touring capabilities.
The Ninja 1000 is powered by a 1043cc, in-line four cylinder motor that churns out 138bhp at 10,000rpm and 111Nm of torque at 7300rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch. For cycle parts, it comes with 41mm inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. It gets a pair of 300mm discs at the front and a 250mm disc at the rear.
