- Rs. 15,000 cash discount on its ex-showroom price
- Costs Rs. 3.28 lakh now
Kawasaki is offering a flat discount of Rs. 15,000 on the Ninja 300 in India for a limited period. As a result, the motorcycle is now priced at Rs. 3.28 lakh, ex-showroom. Notably, the company has been offering discounts on the motorcycle for a while now. There was a Rs. 10,000 off on the bike’s ex-showroom price last month as a festive discount. With these offers, Kawasaki might be trying to clear out the old stock before introducing the updated model of the Ninja 300.
The Ninja 300 has remained unchanged in almost every aspect ever since its debut, barring the introduction of new colours and emission-oriented changes. What’s worth noting though is that it’s one of the most affordable twin-cylinder motorcycles on sale in India. In fact, it’s priced lower now as compared to when it was first launched in India in 2013 at Rs. 3.50 lakh, ex-showroom. This is courtesy of Kawasaki turning it into a locally manufactured product from CBU (completely built-up).
The Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 38.88bhp and 26.1Nm of peak torque. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. Underpinned by a tubular diamond-type chassis, it rides on 17-inch wheels with telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking hardware comprises a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 goes up against the likes of the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Yamaha R3, and the Aprilia RS 457.
