- Available at Rs 3.18 lakh
- Powered by a 296cc, parallel-twin engine
- Sold in three colour options
Kawasaki India has confirmed via its social media handles that it will soon commence the deliveries of the BS6-compliant Ninja 300. The most affordable Kawasaki model in the Indian market retails at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 3.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it nearly Rs 20,000 more expensive than the BS4-compliant Ninja 300.
The changes to the BS6 model include mechanical revisions to comply with the new emission norms. Despite complying with the more strict emission standards, the 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine continues to produce 38.4bhp of maximum power and 27Nm of peak torque. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Apart from mechanical upgrades, the BS6 model also benefits from revised graphics that distinguish it from the BS4 version. The motorcycle is available in three colours – Lime Green with KRT graphics, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony. The design, on the other hand, remains unaltered, and the Ninja 300 BS6 continues to use twin-pod headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a muscular fuel tank, and a step-up saddle.
Apart from the Kawasaki outlets across the country, the new Ninja 300 BS6 is available for bookings on Amazon India.
