Kawasaki has launched a new paint scheme for the Ninja 300. Priced at Rs 3.61 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), this new model has been christened Ninja 300 KRT edition to reflect the new paint scheme’s connection to the Kawasaki’s factory racing team.
The Ninja 300 KRT edition comes painted in a combination of lime green and ebony black livery. This paint scheme draws inspiration from Kawasaki Racing Team’s 2016 race bike competing in the World Superbike Championship. The Ninja 300 KRT edition replaces the existing 30th Anniversary edition in the company’s line-up and is available at all Kawasaki showrooms across the country.
Under the skin, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT edition is identical to its predecessor. It is powered by a liquid-cooled 296cc parallel-twin engine, which delivers 39bhp and 27Nm of torque. The six-speed transmission comes with a slipper clutch. The Ninja 300 competes with the Yamaha YZF-R3 and the Hysoung GT250R.
EDIT: The ex-showroom Mumbai price for the Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT edition with octroi is Rs 3.78 lakh.
