The Kawasaki Ninja 300 launch isn't too far away, and now we can confirm it: the folks at PowerDrift have caught an example testing around Bajaj's facility in Pune.
First impressions are that it looks a lot bigger than the existing 250R, although it loses out on some of the elegance of the outgoing model's looks. From the angle of the images we cannot tell you whether this is an ABS version being tested, but we can see that Bajaj has chosen to stick with IRC as tyre suppliers, although both MRF and Continental have the capability to produce tyres for the motorcycle.
Expect a pwoer output of 38PS and 27Nm, but we also expect that torque to be more accessible than the 250R's thanks to the 50cc advantage it has. Price should be about Rs 30,000 more than the existing model's, which should make the ABS version (if launched) around the Rs 4 lakh mark.
We expect the Ninja 300 to launch before the onset of the monsoon this year.
