-Kawasaki Z400 gets a new black/grey colour
-Based on the Ninja 400
-Is likely to be launched in India sometime this year
Kawasaki has unveiled the 2020 version of the Z400 for international markets. The bike gets a new colour scheme of Metallic Matte Graphite Grey and Metallic Spark Black along with green graphics on the tank shrouds and tail section.
Furthermore, the Z400 also gets the same shade of green on its frame which is similar to its bigger siblings, the Z650 and Z900. The bike is also available in the Candy Lime Green and Metallic Spark Black combination that it was globally unveiled in. And apart from the new colour, the Z400 remains the same.
The streetfighter is based on the Ninja 400 which is on sale in India and is powered by the same 399cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 47.5bhp of power and 38Nm of torque. In term of design, the Z400 has an aggressive stance that is complemented by its low-slung full-LED headlamp and sharp tank shrouds.
While Kawasaki hasn’t revealed an exact date for the launch of the Z400, we expect the bike to arrive in the country sometime this year. It is likely to be priced Rs 25,000-Rs 30,000 lower than the Ninja 400 which costs Rs 4.69 lakh. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 will compete against the KTM 390 Duke in India.
