Kawasaki India recently launched the Ninja 500 as its latest member in the middleweight clan. At this point, Kawasaki has the Ninja 300, Ninja 400, and Ninja 500 on sale in India with the latter two having the same price tag. Powering the new Ninja 500 is a 451cc parallel-twin cylinder engine and it makes 45bhp at 9000rpm and 42.6Nm at 6000rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch. The Ninja 500 also features full LED illumination, ABS, and an LCD with smartphone connectivity.
The Kawasaki Ninja 500 is available in a single variant and single paint scheme in India while the international market gets a SE model too.
