- Limited for September
- Discount amount includes the GST
- The voucher can be redeemed against the ex-showroom price
Kawasaki India has announced another discount for the Ninja 650. The Japanese middleweight can now be availed with a Rs. 25,000 discount on its ex-showroom price of Rs. 7.16 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi). However, the said scheme if only valid from 1 September to 30 September and can be availed on the ex-showroom price. Plus, this includes the GST amount as well. Moreover, this discount comes shortly after Triumph launched its Daytona 660. Although the British offering costs notably more, it also holds a higher aspirational value and offers more features, higher performance figures, and a better package overall.
However, this isn’t the first time that the Kawasaki Ninja 650 has received a discount. The brand previously announced Rs. 30,000 off on its middleweight sports-tourer in March. But the festive season is around the corner and the new scheme could help bump up the sales even further.
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 has been around for a while and has received generational updates. Currently, it is powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 67bhp at 8,000rpm and 64Nm at 6,700rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
On the feature front, the Ninja 650 gets a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and all the necessary readouts. It also gets traction control and dual-channel ABS for the safety net.
With the Rs. 25,000 discount, the Kawasaki Ninja 650’s asking price is Rs. 6.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In its class, it rivals the recently launched Triumph Daytona 660.
