- Ninja 650 now available at Rs 6.95 lakh
- Vulcan S priced at Rs 6.40 lakh
- No cosmetic or mechanical changes to the motorcycles
Kawasaki India has revised the prices of several models in our market and this hike affects the company’s middleweight motorcycles, the Ninja 650 and the Vulcan S.
The fully-faired motorcycle is now expensive by Rs 7,000 while the cruiser has received an increase of Rs 6,000 over the previous ex-showroom price tags. Post this price revision, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Vulcan S are now available at Rs 6.95 lakh and Rs 6.40 lakh, respectively.
This price hike does not bring any cosmetic or mechanical changes to the middleweight motorcycles. Thus, the Ninja 650 and the Vulcan S continue to use the 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. The motor is tuned differently for both motorcycles and it makes 67.3bhp and 64Nm on the Ninja 650. In comparison, the Vulcan S produces 60bhp and 62.4Nm.
The colour palette for the Ninja 650 comprises Lime Green and Pearl Robotic White. The Vulcan S, on the other hand, is available in a single colour option – Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray.
