Kawasaki has unveiled the Ninja H2 SX and the Vulcan S at the 2018 Auto Expo. While the former is a sports-touring version of the company's flagship model, the Vulcan S is a cruiser based on the Z650 and Ninja 650 platform.
The Ninja H2 SX uses the same 998cc supercharged inline four engine as the Ninja H2. The engine has the same output as it supersports sibling - 197bhp and 137Nm of torque. Kawasaki says that the power output is more focused in the low to mid-range. The ergonomics although, have been revised to make it more comfortable for the street. Even the subframe has been revised and can bear a payload of 190 kilograms. The electronic package has been caried over with the addition of a cruise control system. It is available in two variants - standard and SE. The former is priced at Rs 21.8 lakhs while the SE retails at Rs 26.8 lakhs (both ex-showroom).
Kawasaki also showcased its middleweight cruiser, the Vulcan S. Just like its bigger sibling, the Vulcan S features characteristic urban cruiser-esque styling cues like a low-slung profile, stretched wheelbase and laid-back riding postion. It is priced at Rs 5.44 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Japanese manufacturer also introduced 2018 updates for the rest of its range, which comprises of new paint schemes.
