- Priced at Rs. 9.10 lakh
- Features LED illumination, TFT, ABS, and more
- Is currently the most expensive 400cc bike on sale in India
Kawasaki India recently launched the most expensive 400cc motorcycle in India, the Ninja ZX-4RR. It is priced at an eye-watering Rs. 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and has now started arriving at select dealerships across India. However, the stock is likely limited to about 25 units across India.
The Ninja ZX-4RR sits above the standard, Ninja ZX-4R which is priced at Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, the 4RR packs more power, a different colour scheme and slightly premium hardware. Apart from that, the design aspect of both models is identical.
Powering the Ninja ZX-4RR is a 399cc inline four-cylinder motor. It makes 80bhp at 14,500rpm and 39Nm at 13,000rpm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The bike also gets a quickshifter, TFT screen, ride modes, traction control, power modes, dual-channel ABS, and smartphone connectivity.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is brought to India as a CBU and hence bears the hefty price tag. Moreover, in its price range, the Ninja ZX-4RR is the only offering in the 400cc segment. However, the ZX-4RR’s on-road price in Mumbai is just Rs. 34,000 shy when compared to that of the Kawasaki Z900. The latter not only offers a bigger engine but makes a lot more power too.
