Kawasaki India has unveiled the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R at the India Bike Week 2023. The updated Japanese middleweight has been showcased and is set to make its debut soon.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has received minor updates on the design front and the engine to comply with the latest emission norms. Its supersport design remains unaltered and the bike comes with low clip-ons and rear set footpegs. The fascia has been altered a bit and now gets slight curves. However, the ZX-6R too takes inspiration from the ZX-10R’s design.
Kawasaki has equipped the Ninja ZX-6R with a 636cc, in-line four-cylinder engine that makes 129bhp at 13,000rpm and 69Nm at 10,800rpm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a bi-directional quickshifter. The bike also gets other rider aids including traction control, ride modes, ABS, and other safety features.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is suspended on Showa Separate Function forks (SFF-BP) and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear. It comes with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustability. Meanwhile, the braking duties are done by dual 310mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc. These are mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres.
Kawasaki is likely to price the new Ninja ZX-6R at Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom) and launch it in the next few months.
