- 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R revealed
- Gets new colour
- Could be launched in India next year
Kawasaki has updated the Ninja ZX-10R for 2022 along with a couple of other models in its line-up.
And as part of the update, the motorcycle is now offered in a new colour. It incorporates the Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray colour with hints of Metallic Diablo Black on some bits of bodywork. Along with this, the new colour scheme also features red pinstripes and a bold ‘10R’ on either side of the fairing.
Apart from this colour, the 2022 Kawasaki ZX-10R is also offered in a KRT edition like the one sold in India with a price tag of Rs 15.14 lakh, ex-showroom. However, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same. With a redesigned front fascia, Kawasaki had also revised the ergonomics for an aggressive riding position for the 2021 model.
The 999cc, inline-four-cylinder had received few revisions, and the feature list is now longer. It comprises cruise control, traction control, launch control, riding modes, and engine brake control. Moreover, it also features a Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch TFT, Ohlins electronic steering damper, and a two-way quick shifter.
While the 2022 Kawasaki ZX-10R will be available in international markets soon, we can expect it to be launched in India sometime next year. Nevertheless, for this year, the company is expected to introduce the Z650RS to compete against the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
