Kawasaki will launch the Ninja ZX-10RR in India tomorrow. Based on the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, this limited edition bike will compete with the likes of the Yamaha YZF-R1, Aprilia RSV4 RR and the MV Agusta F4.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR is only offered as a single-seater in race-spec livery inspired by Kawasaki’s World Superbike (WSBK) factory team. It might seem identical to the standard Ninja ZX-10RR on the surface, but the 999cc inline-four engine has been tweaked to handle the additional power. It gets a reinforced crankcase, high lift cams and a revised cooling system. The Ninja ZX-10RR rides on lightweight seven-spoke Marchesini wheels and sticky Pirelli Supercorsa SP tyres.
The production of the Ninja ZX-10RR has been limited to 1000 units worldwide, which should make it a very exclusive motorcycle in the Indian market. Of late, a growing number of manufacturers have been introducing limited edition motorcycles in India. Apart from being highly sought after, these halo products also help build the brand’s image.
