Kawasaki has introduced the Ninja ZX-25R in Indonesia. The ZX-25R is possibly the most anticipated launch of 2020 and will be available in international markets in the next couple of months. While its India launch is unlikely anytime soon, we bring to you detailed images of the Ninja ZX-25R for you to ogle at.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R follows the styling similar to the rest of the Ninja family. And thus its sports a distinctively sharp front end with twin LED headlamp and a tapering tail section. The fairing too has lines and creases that amplify the motorcycle’s aerodynamics.
Nevertheless, the true wonder lies under the fairing- a 249cc, inline-four cylinder engine that is capable of producing 49.3bhp (50.3bhp with RAM Air) at 15,500rpm and 22.9Nm of torque at 14,500rpm. This liquid-cooled, 16-valve engine is mated to a six-speed transmission with a slipper and assist clutch.
Kawasaki has equipped the Ninja ZX-25R with features like traction control, two power modes, and ABS as standard. It also gets full-LED lighting all around, a semi-digital instrument cluster as well as adjustable brake and clutch levers.
The Ninja ZX-25R rides on 17-inch wheels with Dunlop GPR300 tyres. It gets a pair of 37mm, Showa SFF Big Piston USD adjustable forks for the front, and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking power comes from a 310mm disc at the front and a 220mm rotor at the back.
The motorcycle is available in two variants- standard and Special Edition. While the standard is available in Metallic Spark Black, the SE has three colour options. There is the KRT Lime Green/Ebony livery, Metallic Spark Black with Pearl Flat Stardust White and Candy Plasma Blue with Metallic Spark Blue. Moreover, the Special Edition also benefits from a quick shifter.
