- A 250cc four-cylinder might be in the making
- Rumoured to churn out 50bhp
- Likely to be unveiled at the 2019 EICMA
Kawasaki might be working on a new quarter-litre motorcycle. According to a report, the Japanese manufacturer is developing a new 250cc four-cylinder motorcycle.
The same report mentioned a ready prototype located inside Kawasaki’s Indonesian facility. This prototype was spotted with a race exhaust and was quite loud. In fact, it sounded almost like Kawasaki’s bigger bikes. There are very few details about this bike, but if rumours are to be believed, this 250cc four-cylinder motor will make around 50bhp of peak power.
We can expect this Kawasaki to make its world debut at the 2019 EICMA Show, at least in a concept form. But with a four-cylinder configuration and 250cc displacement tags, it will be interesting to see if there’s a market for such motorcycle.
