- Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R to get a new black colour
- Performance details not yet revealed
- Unlikely to be launched in India
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R has been spotted in a new, black colour option.
The motorcycle sports a completely blacked-out look with only a few components like the heel plate, pillion footrest, forks, and exhaust are silver-finished. Moreover, the Kawasaki and Ninja ZX-25R badging on the tank and fairing is also completed in silver colour.
Apart from the new colour, the variant remains unchanged. It derives its aggressive styling from the bigger Ninja ZX-6R which is available in India. And while Kawasaki has revealed that the 250cc, inline-four cylinder engine can rev up to 17,000rpm, it has kept mum about the performance figures. Nevertheless, we know that the Ninja ZX-25R uses Showa suspension at the front and back and comes with riding aids such as traction control, power modes, and ABS.
Until now, Kawasaki only showcased the Ninja ZX-25R in KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team) colours, which is likely to be slightly more expensive as compared to the base black paint scheme. The Ninja ZX-25R was scheduled to be globally launched in March, although the date was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. While the motorcycle will be sold in international markets, it is unlikely to be launched in India anytime soon.
