-Kawasaki’s upcoming streetfighter to be called Z H2
-Likely to come powered by a similar engine as the H2
-To be unveiled on 23 October
Kawasaki has released a third video teasing its upcoming supercharged streetfighter. This time, the video reveals that the motorcycle will be called the Z H2.
The teaser also shows the silhouette of the Z H2’s design which looks similar to the Z900. It sports a low-slung full-LED headlamp underneath a fly screen, a muscular fuel tank and a sharp tail section with split seats. Moreover, the previous teaser videos also revealed that the Z H2 will come equipped with a full-colour TFT screen and electronic aids such as traction control, cruise control.
The Z H2 is also likely to borrow the 998cc, inline-four, supercharged engine from the H2 although with a different set of tune to suit its streetfighter character. On the H2, this engine produces 197bhp at 11,000rpm and 134Nm of torque at 10,500rpm.
Kawasaki will reveal more details of the Z H2 at its unveiling on 23 October. Will it come to India? It sure will and we can expect the Japanese manufacturer to introduce the bike our country sometime next year
