Kawasaki Thailand has recently made some modifications on the Kawasaki ZX-10R for Thai customers and is planning to showcase it at the Bangkok Motorbike Festival that’s scheduled between 27th and 31st January 2016.
Sources at Kawasaki explained that they did not intend on increasing the power output of the outgoing ZX-10R model, but were keen on enhancing the low to mid-range power. In the new bike, Kawasaki has tweaked the motor and reduced the weight of the bike to enhance the power output. There’s a 20 per cent drop in weight when compared to the previous bike and it carries a new cylinder head and crank. Kawasaki claims that the new motor is capable of spinning faster than the earlier version.
This new 2016 Ninja ZX-10R is equipped with an impressive arsenal of race-derived accessories and ensures better stability and improved grip (15.8mm longer swing arm). Traction control, engine braking control, ABS, Quickshifter and new riding modes make it convenient for the new ZX-10R buyer to ride in rain or on varied terrains.
The Japanese motorcycle maker is expected to also offer discounts during the Fest to attract prospective buyers and enhance sales.
