Kawasaki has brought back the famous the KLX250 dual purpose motorcycle. The 2018 version gets host of cosmetic and mechanical changes.
The KLX250 was known to carry a sober and a little boring design. But things have changed drastically with the new model. The 2018 KLX250 gets sharper styling. The two-piece radiator shrouds and fork guards have been inspired from the KX family.
Powering this motorcycle is a 249cc single-cylinder liquid cooled motor that has been tuned to churn out torque from low revs. It gets an all new fuel injection system that has improved the throttle response and also increased the overall fuel efficiency.
The suspension setup on the 2018 KLX250 is fully adjustable which is a boon for such riding. The 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels make sure that the bike gets through big obstacles easily. The stopping power for the KLX250 comes from a twin-piston caliper gripping a 250mm disc up front and a single-piston caliper gripping a 240mm disc in the rear.
The Kawasaki KLX250 is available in two colours, green and camou edition. Kawasaki India should get this motorcycle for India. There's a market for this, and the Japanese manufacturer has a big chance of capturing it only if it assembles this bike in India. Great pricing will definitely result in good sales.
