Kawasaki has pulled the wraps off two new competition bikes, the KX250XC and the KX450XC. Both the bikes have received massive upgrades for 2021.
The KX250XC has been developed for youngsters who have just started participating in competitions. This race ready motorcycle has received a lot of inputs from Kawasaki’s racing team. The bodywork, chassis, engine and even the electronics have been tweaked heavily. The 249cc single-cylinder engine has received new titanium valves and more aggressive cam profiles. The engine mapping has been revised too. The suspension, the brakes are of top-class quality and have been designed to take all the abuses.
The KX450XC is equipped with a 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This motor has been optimized to deliver right power. The bike gets new 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch at the rear. It also gets new Dunlop tyres, new skid plate along with new kickstand. The brakes on the KX450XC are new as well that enhances the overall performance of the motorcycle.
The Kawasaki KX450XC is priced at $9599 (Rs 7.19 lakh) whereas the KX250XC is a bit cheaper at $8399 (Rs 6.29 lakh). Both these bikes might come to India later this year but expect it to have an expensive price tag.
