Kawasaki has hiked the price of the 2020 Versys 1000 in India by Rs 10,000. The motorcycle now codtsy Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Versys 1000’s 1043cc, inline-four cylinder engine has been BS6 compliant since 2019. It puts out 118.2bhp of power and 102Nm of torque, and is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
Apart from the increase in price, the Versys 1000 remains the same. It is equipped with a cruise control system, two power modes, a five-axis Bosch IMU, cornering ABS as well as traction control with three riding modes. Kawasaki continues to offer the Versys 1000 BS6 with the same colour schemes as the previous model- ‘Candy Lime Green’ with ‘Metallic Spark Black’ and ‘Pearl Stardust White’ with ‘Metallic Spark Black’.
Interested customers can book the new Versys 1000 on the official website. Moreover, Kawasaki dealers across the country are also accepting bookings via phone call. Nevertheless, deliveries for the motorcycle will only commence once Kawasaki dealerships resume operations.
