Kawasaki India is offering a discount of as much as Rs 30,000 on its middle-weight adventure touring machine, the Versys 650. The discount is available in the form of a voucher which can be used either to avail the cash discount or to get free accessories. Notably, the discount voucher for the Versys 650 is available till 30 November or till the existing stock lasts.

The offer has been introduced with an aim to boost sales during this festive season and we might see similar discounts on other Kawasaki offerings as well. The company is also offering discount of up to Rs 50,000 on its small-capacity off-road bikes including the KLX 110, KLX 140 and KX 100. These motorcycles are not road-legal and can only be used on dirt tracks.

Kawasaki had launched the BS6-compliant version of the Versys 650 in August 2020 in India. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 6.79 lakh which makes it Rs 10,000 more expensive than the BS4 version. However, with the aforementioned discount voucher, its price has now come down to Rs 6.49 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). 

The motorcycle is powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine which makes 65.7bhp and 61Nm. It rides on 17-inch wheels with upside-down forks and a monoshock while braking is handled by a disc at both ends. The list of features includes a dual-pod headlamp setup, semi-digital instrument cluster, 21-litre fuel tank and an adjustable windscreen.
