After the Ninja 400 and the Ninja 650, Kawasaki India has also introduced new offers for the Versys 650. The Japanese tourer is available with a discount of Rs. 45,000 on its ex-showroom price. Moreover, the voucher is only valid till 31 March or till the stock lasts. It is inclusive of the GST.
The asking price for the Kawasaki Versys 650 is Rs. 7,77,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in a single paint scheme of Lime Green with black accents. Powering the Versys 650 is a 649cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine that makes 65.7bhp and a torque of 61Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Kawasaki has equipped the Versys 650 with LED illumination, 4.3-inch TFT, and smartphone connectivity for call/SMS alerts. The bike also gets ABS and traction control. It rides on USD front forks and a monoshock, while the braking duties are done by a dual front and single rear disc. These are mounted on 17-inch front and rear alloys wrapped in 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tyres.
The Kawasaki Versys 650 is better suited for touring and boasts a tall stance, large windscreen upfront, upright rider triangle, and a sizeable build as well. It rivals the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, Honda NX500, and the Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT.
