India Kawasaki Motor has extended its Good Times Voucher discount offer on its most affordable motorcycle in the Indian market, the W175. Under this special discount, India Kawasaki Motor is offering a voucher worth Rs. 10,000 that can be redeemed against the ex-showroom price of the motorcycle. Previously, this offer was valid until 30 April, 2023. However, the Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer has now extended the validity of its offer till 31 May, 2023.
The Kawasaki W175 is available in two variants in the Indian market – standard and Special. The base model is available at Rs. 1.47 lakh, while the Special Edition model, which benefits from a bolder paint theme, is available at Rs. 1.49 lakh. This puts the W175 against the likes of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin in the Indian market. Both rivals carry a considerably higher performance than the W175.
The differences between the two variants of the Kawasaki W175 are limited to the paint job. Meanwhile, both variants carry styling cues such as a round headlight, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, single-piece seat, basic pillion grabrail, peashooter exhaust, and wire-spoke wheels. The standard variant is listed in Ebony paint theme while the Special Edition is available in Candy Persimmon Red colour.
The mechanical specifications, too, are identical on both variants. The BS6-compliant 177cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox, and it delivers a maximum output of 12.8bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 13.2Nm at 6,000rpm.
