Kawasaki is set to launch their flagship model, the H2, in India.. The most expensive litre-class production motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer sets new benchmarks in performance.
The H2 is the only street legal motorcycle with a supercharged engine. The 998cc inline motor is good to produce a staggering 200bhp and 113.5Nm of torque at 10,500rpm. Moreover, the company is also offering optional Ram Air intake, which will then further boost the power figures to 210bhp.
Built on a tubular trellis frame, the H2 looks as radical as the performance it is capable of delivering. It has the patent Kawasaki green, but it gets a whole lot of silver mirror paint finish to add that exclusive touch.
Needless to say there are a lot of electronics to put all that power on the road, including three steep traction controls, launch control, engine control with KIBS intelligent braking system and a quick shifter. All these gizmos are going to cost a fair bit and we expect the motorcycle to cost around Rs 35 lakh. Stay tuned for more details and official pricing from the launch event in Delhi.
