Kawasaki has revealed the pricing of the Z H2 in the UK after unveiling it at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. The supercharged naked motorcycle costs GBP 15,149 (Rs 13.9 lakhs) in the country.
As its name suggests, the Z H2 is based on the manical Ninja H2 and comes powered by the same 998cc, inline-four cylinder, supercharged engine. While the power figures are similar to the fully-faired motorcycle, the Z H2 gets a supercharger inlet and ram air intake for better low and mid-range torque.
In terms of electronics, the Z H2 comes with riding modes- Sport, Road, Rain and Rider along with three power modes, a six-axis IMU, launch control, traction control system and cruise control. The bike uses Brembo M4 calipers with 290mm discs at the front and a 226mm disc at the rear for braking.Meanwhile suspension duties are taken care of by Showa Big Piston Forks upfront and a Showa monoshock at the rear.
With the Kawasaki Z H2 arriving in international markets, it will not be long before it is launched in India. We can expect the manufacturer to introduce the motorcycle in the country sometime early 2020 priced around Rs 28 lakhs- Rs 30 lakhs (ex-showroom).
