Kawasaki has introduced a new variant of the Z300, called the Z300 Performance in the UK. The motorcycle is equipped with a couple of visual upgrades as well an Akrapovic end can, and retails at GBP 4,799 (Rs 4.16 lakhs).
The upgrades on the Z300 Performance include a cowl in place of the pillion seat which converts it into a single seater and a tank pad. At the heart of the Z300 is a 296cc parallel-twin engine, which now breathes out through an Akrapovic slip-on exhaust system. The engine delivers 38bhp and 27Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.
The upgrades on the Z300 Performance make it GBP 450 (Rs 38,939) pricier than the standard Z300. It is available in two paint schemes – green and black. Customers can also opt for optional accessories like frame sliders, tank bag and tail bag for the Z250. While Kawasaki does not sell the Z300 Performance in India, Kawasaki dealers can import these accessories individually from Europe for the existing Z250 customers.
