Kawasaki Z650RS now available in Metallic Moondust Gray and Ebony

Kawasaki has unveiled a new paint option for its middleweight retro-style motorcycle, the Z650RS in the international markets. This motorcycle is now available in Metallic Moondust Gray with Ebony paint option. This new paint theme joins the existing Metallic Spark Black and Candy Emerald Green colours.

In India, the Z650RS is available in three colours – Candy Emerald Green, Metallic Moonlight Gray, and the 50th Anniversary Edition. While the new Metallic Moondust Gray paint may look similar to the Metallic Moonlight Gray, the graphics on the fuel tank feature a different colour. The former gets a turquoise colour for the graphics while the latter uses a shade of orange. The mechanical specifications, hardware, and design remain unaltered and this new colour option continues to use the 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that makes 67bhp and 63.7Nm of peak torque.

The styling cues retain the round headlight at the front, twin-pod instrument cluster, a curvy fuel tank, a single-piece saddle, round rear-view mirrors, and a compact exhaust canister. The hardware on the Z650RS includes telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, twin discs at the front, a single rotor at the back, and 17-inch wheels on both ends.

The India launch details for this new paint theme are not available yet. Meanwhile, the existing paint options are available at Rs 6,92,000. The 50th Anniversary Edition, in comparison, is available at Rs 6,99,000 (all prices are ex-showroom, India).
