Kawasaki India will offer the Z800 in a new colour option now. Apart from the all black green stickering that it was initially launched with, the Z800 will also be available in the candy green and black paint scheme. Thanks to Sanchit who sent us these pictures of the motorcycle from the Kawasaki Wakdewadi showroom in Pune.
The green and black paint scheme is one of the colour options internationally available. The Z800 looks more attractive than the current model with this green colour on the bikini fairing, fuel tank, engine belly pan, side panels and the rear seat. Apart from these cosmetic changes to the motorcycle, there is nothing else that the manufacturer has revised.
The Z800 comes powered by the same four-stroke in-line four liquid-cooled 806cc engine that churns out 113bhp of power and 83Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a six-speed transmission.
Kawasaki's sport naked motorcycle, the Z800, is facing serious competition from the Triumph Street Triple in the Indian market. The company has taken a note of this and in order to grab some attention of enthusiasts and buyers before the onset of the festive season, they are offering the Z800 in this eye-catching colour.
The Kawasaki Z800 is also offered in white and orange colours overseas. Let's hope that the manufacturer will also introduce these new colour options, for the Indian market, soon.
