- Powered by a 399cc inline four-cylinder engine
- Features LED illumination, TFT, and more
- Costs Rs. 61,000 more than the standard 4R
Kawasaki India has launched the most expensive 400cc bike on sale in India, the Ninja ZX-4RR. The bike is priced at Rs. 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and here is what it packs.
On the design front, the Ninja ZX-4RR looks aggressive and every bit of a sports bike. It gets a split LED headlight and a sharp front profile similar to what we see on the current Ninja ZX-6R. Kawasaki is offering the new Ninja ZX-4RR in a single paint scheme of Lime Green.
What makes the Ninja ZX-4RR special is its engine. It is a 399cc inline four-cylinder motor and makes 80bhp at 14,500rpm and 39Nm at 13,000rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a quickshifter too. That’s not it. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR also gets a TFT screen, ride modes, traction control, power modes, dual-channel ABS, and smartphone connectivity too.
Even the hardware on the ZX-4RR is quite premium as the bike rides on 37mm SFF-BP USD forks and a gas-charged rear shock, both adjustable. The braking hardware comprises a dual 290mm front and a single 220mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR has no direct rivals in the 400cc category. When compared to its sibling, the ZX-4R, the 4RR costs Rs. 61,000 more.
