- 2023 Kawasaki ZX-6R to be unveiled soon
- To continue with a 127bhp inline-four engine
- Could be launched in India in limited numbers
The global market has gradually shifted from the lure of high-revving 600cc supersports to more useable motorcycles such as the KTM 790 Duke R or the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS. Even Yamaha took the R6 off the shelves due to high production costs and low sales. But Kawasaki has decided to stick to its formula by continuing the production of the Ninja ZX-6R for 2023.
Now the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is unlikely to get any major changes because why fixed what isn’t broken right? It is expected to use the 636cc, inline-four-cylinder screamer of an engine that is capable of churning out a healthy 127bhp and 70Nm. Moreover, power modes, slipper and assist clutch, traction control, ABS and a quick shifter would enable users to fully utilize all that performance.
That said, even its suspension and braking hardware remain the same as the previous model. However, we do expect Kawasaki to add some new colour schemes to the mix to up the Ninja ZX-6R’s appeal. As for India, we can expect the manufacturer to bring the 2023 model to our country sometime later this year, although in limited numbers.
