- EV project named Endeavor
- Gets four-speed manual gearbox
- More electric bikes under development
Kawasaki has finally revealed some major details of its ambitious electric bike project. Firstly, the bike has been named Endeavour and secondly, it gets a four-speed manual gearbox.
These details were revealed on its official YouTube channel. According to the teaser video that was uploaded earlier this month, manual transmission not only allows a greater speed range, it also allows the rider to have greater input when operating the bike. Since the beginning of this EV project, Kawasaki has been focusing a lot on making its electric bike fun and agile to ride. The project Endeavor is likely to sport all these aspects.
As of now, this project is still in its earlier stage. But according to the earlier videos from Kawasaki, the company plans to use some learnings from this project and apply it to its future electric bikes. This clearly suggests that there are more electric bikes planned by Kawasaki that will make its world debut in the next few years.
