- Subtly updated version of the K300N
- Rs. 60,000 more affordable now
- Special price for the first 100 customers
Hungarian brand Keeway, which is retailed by Adishwar Auto Ride in India, has re-launched the K300N naked street bike in India with a new name and a much lower price tag. It is called the K300 SF now and costs Rs. 1.69 lakh, ex-showroom, which is a significant drop of Rs. 60,000! Notably, this is a special price and applicable only for the first 100 customers.
The K300 SF is available in India as a CKD (completely knocked down) product. The price drop is a result of benefits that Keeway’s Indian arm has received from its global counterpart and it intends to extend the same to its customers. Now, it remains to be seen how big a price increment the K300 SF will receive after the first 100 units are sold out; that’s something the company is yet to finalise.
The K300 SF gets subtly revised decals and a mild change to its engine tuning over the K300N. The rest of the aspects of the motorcycle, including the engine specifications, remain unchanged. It continues to boast a profoundly aggressive and athletic stance with a low-slung headlamp, muscular fuel tank section and sharp tail section. It continues to be available in three colour options – red, black, and white.
Powering the bike is a 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 27.1bhp at 8,750rpm and 25Nm at 7,000rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch. As for the cycle parts, the bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with USD forks and a monoshock while braking is handled by a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS. Moreover, it gets full LED lighting and a digital console.
