After much anticipation, Keeway finally revealed the K-Light 250V’s pricing in India. It’s priced at Rs 2.89 lakh onwards (ex-showroom Delhi) and the said pricing gives you a decent number of options to look around. So, let’s see what else can you buy instead of the Hungarian cruiser.
KTM 390 Duke
Starting off the list is the streetfighter offering from KTM. The 390 Duke is priced at Rs 2,93,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra) and is the polar opposite of the Keeway K-Light 250V. Its 373cc liquid-cooled motor belting out 42.9bhp and 37Nm packs a mean punch and accelerates quite aggressively. The features list too is commendable since it packs a TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, switchable dual-channel ABS and LED illumination. If you are looking for a youthful motorcycle, the KTM 390 Duke could be an option.
Keeway Vieste 300
Another option you could check out instead of the Keeway K-Light 250V is its scooter sibling, the Vieste 300. It’s powered by a liquid-cooled 278.2cc single-cylinder engine that dishes out 18.4bhp and 22Nm. The Vieste 300 is a proper maxi-scooter with sharp bodywork and a youthful design. It also gets LED illumination, a semi-digital instrument cluster and keyless operation. It’s priced at Rs 2.99 lakh.
Keeway Sixties 300i
If you are inclined towards retro-styled scooters, then the Keeway Sixties 300i is the way to go. It shares the engine with the Vieste 300 with the same output figures. Unlike the maxi-scooter sibling, the Sixties 300i gets an old-school design and features flowing lines and curvy bodywork. It features LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster and a 10-litre fuel tank. Keeway has priced it at Rs 2.99 lakh onwards.
BMW G 310 GS
The lineup has quite some diverse options including the BMW G 310 GS. The Bavarian ADV has gradually established itself in the Indian market and retails at Rs 3,05,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The G 310 GS draws power from a liquid-cooled 313cc motor and churns out 33.52bhp and 28Nm. On the feature front, the GS packs LED lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster and a smoked windscreen. If you are on a hunt for an ADV or a tourer, have a look at the BMW G 310 GS.
Royal Enfield Continental GT 650
Last but not least, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 has also made it to the list. Priced at Rs 3,05,624 onwards, the Continental GT 650 is the largest offering for the said price bracket. Powered by a 648cc, air and oil-cooled parallel-twin motor, the middleweight cafe-racer makes 47bhp and 52Nm. The engine packs ample torque and lets the bike crawl at low speed in a higher gear and then accelerate swiftly without any hesitation. Not to mention, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 comes draped in several paint schemes as well.
