Keeway has unveiled its first three offerings for India in the form of two scooters and a cruiser motorcycle. Now, we’ve already covered the Vieste 300’s top 5 highlights and it’s time to have a look at the retro offering from Keeway, the Sixties 300i.
Oldschool Looks
The Keeway Sixies 300i features old-school bodywork. You get long and flowing body panels all over. However, the retro attire also gets a dash of modern touch with LED illumination. Furthermore, the Sixties 300i also gets an LCD below its analog console.
Take a look at its rear profile and you’ll see a flat, bagger-like setup. The vertical LED taillight with the center unit looks oddly good. The Sixties 300i has a split seat setup, but only the rider seat can be opened and has the storage cavity underneath. The pillion seat is fixed. It gets a floorboard integrated 10-litre fuel tank.
Powerful Motor
Keeway has plonked in a 278.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor in the Sixties 300i. It makes 18.7bhp and 22Nm. This is the same setup as the Keeway Vieste 300 maxi-scooter.
Colour Options
Keeway unveiled the Sixties 300i in Matt Grey colour. But you also get the options of Matt Light Blue and Matt White colour.
Equipment On Offer
The Keeway Sixties 300i is suspended on telescopic forks and dual rear sprigs. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a 230mm single front disc and a 220mm single rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The Sixties 300i rides on 12-inch wheels shoed to 120/70 tyres at both ends.
Expected Price & Rivals
Keeway will reveal the Sixties 300i’s asking price very soon and we expect it to retail at around Rs 2.15-2.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Interested buyers can make the booking on Keeway India’s official website for a token amount of Rs 10,000.
As of now, the Sixties 300i has no direct rival in its class. But you could check out the BMW G 310 R and the Honda CB300R.
