Keeway India recently launched its most affordable offering, the SR 125. It’s also the lowest-displacement bike in the brand’s current portfolio for India. Here are its top five highlights.
Retro Design
The new Keeway SR 125 features a thorough retro design. It features a round halogen headlight with LED DRLs and bulb indicators. The slim build, single-piece seat, short fenders, and overall appearance of the SR 125 are quite old-school.
Engine
It’s powered by a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with the output rated at 9.7bhp and 8.2Nm. The motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox. For reference, the Honda Shine’s engine makes 11bhp.
Hardware
The SR 125 gets gaitered telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a 300mm front disc and 210mm rear disc with CBS (combined braking system). Keeway has equipped the bike with 17-inch spoked wheels wrapped in 110/70 front and 130/70 rear dual-purpose tyres.
Features
Apart from the LED DRL, the SR 125 also gets a single pod fully digital instrument console. It packs basic readouts like the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel level readout, and more. The SR125 gets a 14-litre fuel tank and weighs just 120kg.
Pricing
The asking price for Keeway SR 125 is set to Rs 1,19,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). It’s offered in three colours: Glossy White, Glossy Red, and Glossy Black. The token amount is set to Rs 1,000 and you can head to the brand’s official site to book the bike.
