- All colour variants cost Rs 2.65 lakh now
- Remains unchanged mechanically
Keeway India has announced a massive cut for its fully-faired motorcycle, the K300 R. All the colour variants of the motorcycle, which were previously priced differently, now boast a common price tag of Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom). That’s a reduction of up to Rs 55,000 and it is effective from 6 April, 2023. This price cut should help the company garner more sales for the brand.
The reason for the Keeway K300 R price cut
The company claims to have received a good response for the motorcycle in India which has prompted it to revise the number of units to be imported. As a result, the cost to import each unit of the motorcycle has also come down and the company has decided to pass on the benefits to its customers. A similar price reduction has been observed for its naked version, the K300 N, as well.
Keeway K300 R design comes from KISKA
The K300 R is undoubtedly an attractive-looking motorcycle and the main credit goes to the international design agency KISKA which is owned by Pierer Mobility. The K300 R boasts an aggressive stance with a front-squatting stance, sharp cuts across its bodywork, a muscular fuel tank, and a radical-looking front fascia. The bold graphics, which read ‘300 R’, running across its fairing only add to its visual appeal.
How powerful is the engine of the Keeway K300 R?
The K300 R is powered by a 292.4cc, liquid-cooled engine which produces 27.1bhp at 8,740rpm and 25Nm at 7,000rpm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a six-speed gearbox. Although the power and torque output figures are much lower than its direct competition, the KTM RC 390, the Keeway has an advantage of lighter weight. Stopping power comes from a 292mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS. As for the fuel tank capacity, it stands at 12 litres.
