The iconic American manufacturer, Harley-Davidson has announced that Khajuraho will play host to the third edition of its zonal event, the Eastern HOG Rally. Harley-Davidson riders from as far as Chennai and Kochi are expected to convene in the city for the event, which will take place from December 5-7.
The event will also witness a HOG Custom Contest where custom chopper builders from across the country will showcase their creations in an attempt to bag the coveted prize of the best custom bike. The event will also host a pre-ride maintenance workshop and an arm-wrestling corner and the traditional fusion music night.
Speaking about the event, Manish Gupta, Dealer Principal Tiger Harley-Davidson said, “Madhya Pradesh has always had a great motorcycling culture and terrain. Since the launch of Tiger Harley-Davidson, our Indore dealership in September 2013, we have seen this culture grow as we welcome more and more Harley owners into the fold. This is the first time the Tiger Chapter is hosting a zonal H.O.G. Rally. We are looking forward to meeting our brothers from across India and giving them a taste of authentic Madhya Pradesh hospitality.”
Currently, HOG has over 1,400 chapters across the world, of which 13 are located in India. The HOG, or the Harley Owners Group, is the official riders group formed by the American marquee. The company, in an attempt to promote the feeling of brotherhood among its owners, keeps conducting such zonal rallies. Last month, over 700 odd riders made it to the third edition of Eastern HOG Rally in Pushkar, making it the largest zonal event of its kind, so far.
