Kinetic Green has revamped the Luna name but this time, the moped has made its comeback as an EV. It is now called the E-Luna and here is what the latest electric two-wheeler from Kinetic Green has to offer.
Design
The new Kinetic E-Luna draws its design inspiration from the petrol model. Hence, you see the same petite and minimal build. It appears purposeful and gets a storage space near the floorboard, is equipped with a split seat setup, and a single-piece headlight.
Features
As one would expect, the E-Luna’s feature list is quite minimal and it gets Luna EV gets a basic digital instrument cluster, lever lock, detachable rear seat, and USB charging point and bag locks. With its utility-focused application, the E-Luna’s limited features list also helps in keeping the asking price low.
Motor and Battery
Powering the E-Luna is a 1.2kW motor with a 2kWh battery. The said setup offers 100km claimed riding range and a top speed of 50kmph. That said, it has a charging time of four hours.
Hardware
Kinetic has equipped the E-Luna with telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. Its brakes include a drum unit at both ends. These are mounted on spoke wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres.
Price
The asking price for the new Kinetic E-Luna is set at Rs. 69,990 (ex-showroom) and it is offered in five colours – red, yellow, black, blue and green.
