- KTM Duke range get another price increase
- Hike ranges from Rs 1,497 to Rs 3,934
- No additional changes
KTM has hiked the priced of the 125 Duke, 200 Duke, 250 Duke and 390 Duke in India.
Surprisingly, KTM had announced a substantial price hike for the Duke range exactly a month ago in the first week of December 2020. Nevertheless, this price increase starts from Rs 1,497 and goes up to Rs 3,934. The KTM 125 Duke now costs Rs 1,51,507 as compared to the earlier price of Rs Rs 1,50,010. The KTM 200 Duke is now priced at Rs Rs 1,81, 536 which positions it at a premium of Rs Rs 2,576 over the previous price. Meanwhile, the 250 Duke and 390 Duke cost Rs Rs 2,17,402 and Rs 2.70, 554 which is a difference of Rs 3,192 and Rs 3,934 each over their earlier pricing
After this price hike, the KTM range does not seem to offer much value for money. The 125 Duke which was the most affordable model in the range is now priced close to the higher-powered Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the feature-rich TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
On the other hand, the KTM 200 Duke now costs as much as the Husqvarna 250’s February 2020 launch price while the 250 Duke is priced at a premium of Rs 8,000 over its August price of Rs 2.09 lakh. However, despite these price hikes, KTM has not equipped the Duke range with any additional changes and the motorcycles continues with the same engines, features and styling.
