KTM will soon introduce the 125 Duke in India. The smallest ‘Duke’ is likely to carry a Rs 1.2-1.3 lakh price tag and compete against the Yamaha YZF R15 V3 (you can read our comparison HERE). Until then you can take a look at the bike in this detailed photo gallery.
Carrying the current ‘Duke’ family styling, the 125 Duke sports an aggressive streetfighter appeal.
It gets sharp tank extensions, a muscular tank, hexagon-shaped low-slung headlamp and an exposed sub frame that add to its raw looks.
While the international model gets a full-LED headlamp and a TFT instrument display…
The Indian version is likely to sport a headlamp similar to the 250 Duke and a orange backlit LCD display.
Additionally the global variant also gets upside down front forks which we expect the Indian-spec version to keep.
Braking duties are done by a 300mm disc for the front and 230mm disc at the rear with a CBS (combined braking system) as standard.
The bike is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 15bhp and 12Nm of torque. The unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Bookings for the KTM 125 Duke have already begun and is expected to arrive by the end of this year.
