In the four months since the launch of the 125 Duke, the motorcycle has managed to rack up impressive sales figures right from its very first month. In fact, the baby Duke has managed to outsell the entire Duke range comprising of the 200 Duke, 250 Duke and the 390 Duke in December and February.
The 125 Duke shares its underpinnings with the 200 Duke. It sports a rigid yet light trellis frame that is suspended by upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is done by disc brakes at both ends equipped with single-channel ABS and RLP (Rear wheel Lift Protection). In terms of power, the 125 Duke features a 124.7cc single-cylinder motor with liquid cooling and a DOHC that is capable of churning out 14.3bhp max power and 12Nm peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
