-First bike delivered in Bengaluru
-KTM 890 Duke R, 1290 Super Adventure R and 890 Adventure R were also launched recently
KTM has commenced deliveries of the 1390 Super Duke R in India. The first bike in India was delivered in Bengaluru. This marks the restart of KTM India’s second innings in the big bike space. The company, previously, sold the 790 Duke in India. Besides the 1390 Super Duke R, KTM also launched the 890 Duke R, 1290 Super Adventure R and 890 Adventure R in India.
The KTM 1390 Super Duke R is a power packed street naked motorcycle. It has a 1,350cc, LC8, V-twin engine that produces 190bhp and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Helping one harness all that power is a comprehensive electronics suite. There are multi-level traction control settings, wheelie control and ride modes.
The design of the bike is another big highlight. In quintessential KTM fashion, it looks raw, and aggressive and shouts out its mean streak. The unusual headlight design and the sharp tank extensions are what grabs attention.
Under the sharp bodywork is a trellis frame with a fully adjustable USD fork at one end and a monoshock at the other. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels while braking is taken care of by twin discs at the front and a disc brake at the rear.
The asking price for the KTM 1390 Super Duke R is set at Rs. 22.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
