The new KTM 1390 Super Duke R has been launched in India. Priced at Rs 22.96 lakh, ex-showroom, the latest super naked is the Austrian company’s flagship bike. Here is a look at it in detail.
The bike's design is quintessentially KTM. It’s bold, raw and aggressive which is quite apparent in the design of the headlight cluster as well as the big fuel tank and more.
The 1390 Super Duke R is powered by a 1,350cc, LC8, V-twin engine that produces a 190bhp.
Helping one handle all that power is a plethora of electronics. You’ve got lean-sensitive traction control, ABS, multiple ride modes, wheelie control and more.
There’s also a new TFT display with crisper graphics and a more easy-to-read layout.
Under the super-aggressive bodywork is a steel trellis frame that is suspended by a fully adjustable WP USD fork and a monoshock. Braking is taken care of by twin discs at the front and a disc brake at the rear.
The new KTM 1390 Super Duke R goes up against the Ducati Streetfighter V4 in India.
